Your way to Wayfinder
Over the course of the pandemic, London’s small and medium sized business owners have faced challenges adapting their operations in a recovering economy. For many, the new financial year offers fresh opportunity to manage businesses without the severe trading restrictions of the past two years.
As the economy reopens, the London Business Hub has launched Wayfinder to help business owners based in the boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Wandsworth. The service helps small businesses connect with trusted expert advice and free support, led by a dedicated team of Wayfinders to guide them.
What is our Wayfinder service?
There is no lack of business support services across London, it’s very much a crowded landscape and this means that businesses are often overwhelmed by choice. Time-poor business owners need a helping hand from experts who understand the SME support space.
This issue is exactly what the Wayfinder service addresses; it operates as a single front door concept for business support. Businesses based in Southwark, Lambeth and Wandsworth can register through the London Business Hub and meet with a Wayfinder to better understand their needs, challenges or goals. The Wayfinder will then conduct a free assessment to connect the business to the right service provider. They’ll stay in touch throughout the whole process to ensure the support offered is working for the business.
Various support resources are available through the service, including financial and business planning, sales and marketing support, retention development, and technology adoption.
What businesses had to say about Wayfinder…
Thank you very much for all of your help and time so far. The first meeting was a great introduction to what was involved in our business relationship as a team. It was friendly and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience with the recommended service providers and I feel very happy and satisfied. Their business and marketing knowledge is just what I needed to get my brand of the ground and up and running.

I could not have achieved this without your amazing help, patience, time and practical support. Words cannot express how grateful I am to you all, thank you for co-ordinating all of this and for being available to help someone like me! My dream is now a viable reality with this cash flow forecast! You have listened, got to know a new business, trusted in my judgement and made changes.
– Karen Williams from Blouise Limited, based in Lambeth
The Wayfinder programme is a fantastic resource which had a valuable impact on my new business. It offered important advice on the key areas on which I needed to focus and provided introductions to sources of information that have proved invaluable. Further mentoring helped me clarify any misunderstandings that remained. I would definitely recommend Wayfinder for new businesses like myself but also for those that have already been running; the bespoke approach will be an asset to all.
– Maxine Binger from Koobool, based in Wandsworth
It’s so nice to have someone take an interest. Dealing with bureaucracy and legal matters is a challenging experience for those of us not trained in the profession so this help is very welcome.
