Smarter London SMEs from Business Disability Forum supports small and medium-sized businesses with advice on disability and how it relates to their organisation.
What support is available?
Smarter London SMEs supports all types of small businesses, from sole traders and startups to larger organisations with less than 250 employees.
Support includes help with day-to-day queries via its SME Advice Service, as well as one-to-one support for Smarter London SME members from a Small Business Disability Adviser.
Smarter London SME Advice Service
The Smarter London SME Advice Service is open to all SMEs in London. It can help with:
- Understanding disability law.
- Employer responsibilities.
- Delivering inclusive services for disabled customers.
- Managing employees.
- Workplace policies.
Support for members
Smarter London SME members are allocated a dedicated Small Business Disability Adviser who provides:
- One-to-one support.
- Help to achieve Department for Work and Pensions Disability Confident Scheme certification.
- Tailored SME resources.
- Disability news updates.
The Smarter London SMEs project is free to join. To be eligible, you must be an organisation based in London with less than 250 employed staff and an annual turnover of less than £40m.
