Continuing Professional Development (CPD) refers to learning activities undertaken by professionals. CPD can help your workforce to develop and progress their skills, refresh existing knowledge and keep up to date with developments in their industry, sector or profession. It also brings benefits for employers, such as boosting staff retention and meeting skills needs within your business.

A range of providers and organisations offer CPD programmes, such as training and events. These include online training providers, local universities and specialist CPD providers.
