New Enterprise Allowance

New Enterprise Allowance can provide money and mentoring support to help people on certain benefits to start a business, or develop one if they are already self-employed.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over and have a business idea, as well as be in receipt of Universal Credit, Jobseeker’s Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance. Individuals who get Income Support and are a lone parent, sick or disabled may also be eligible.
