London Strategic Regulatory Network
London Strategic Regulatory Network (SRN) is keen to simplify the local regulation of businesses by providing help and advice in a way that makes compliance easier. Its Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Licensing teams would like to use the SRN to support you with the economic challenges ahead.
What is a Strategic Regulatory Network?
Strategic Regulatory Networks (SRN) are in place to develop workstreams to simplify the delivery of regulation and contribute to the economic priorities set out by the Local Enterprise Partnerships and Growth Hubs.
Through the SRN:
- London would hear about funding opportunities. Last financial year, OPSS funded over 25 projects (equating to £250,000) to pilot methods to simplify the delivery of regulation, in a range of business areas via SRNs.
- Other Government departments use this network to share their funding opportunities. The Regulators Pioneer Fund has recently changed to allow local authorities to apply for the funding following interest from local regulators through the SRN.
