Hatch: Programmes for Entrepreneurs

Hatch works with entrepreneurs from diverse, under-served communities to develop ideas into successful and sustainable businesses.

It runs a number of programmes for entrepreneurs who want to scale their impact and grow their business, including:

Incubator

Incubator is aimed at those who want to develop an existing early-stage business and get support to navigate the challenges to business growth.

Support includes: 

  • 18 hours of masterclasses covering issues such as mission and value, business strategy, finance, legal, partnerships, marketing and sales, and pitching.
  • 18 hours of peer learning.
  • A financial clinic to help with your questions about prices, costs, sales and overheads.
  • The chance to showcase your business to a panel of experts at Demo Day and get feedback to help develop your business.

Eligibility 

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • You are based in the UK.
  • You are running an early-stage business that you want to grow.
  • You have started trading, or have customers or clients, and at least one part-time staff member (including yourself).
  • You want to increase your business knowledge, skills and confidence.
  • You want to network and be part of a cohort of other entrepreneurs.
  • You can commit to the full nine workshops and Demo Day.

Participants are required to pay a £150 fee. There are also a limited number of bursary places. Incubator is delivered online via Zoom.

1-2-1 Consultations

The 1-2-1 Consultations programme matches entrepreneurs with skilled volunteers to help them overcome business challenges and achieve their goals. Support covers topics including:

  • Business strategy.
  • Operations.
  • Marketing.
  • Finances.
  • Branding.
  • Communications.
  • Legal.
  • Sales
  • Partnerships.
  • HR.
  • IT systems.

This programme is currently closed but you can register your interest for when it reopens.
