Hangar 51 is a leading global travel accelerator. It was launched by the International Airlines Group (IAG) to give startups and scale-ups the opportunity to develop their business by accessing IAG airlines’ resources, expertise and venture capital.

Hangar 51 runs a 10-week accelerator programme for disruptors and innovators to pilot their technologies at scale with airline partners.

  • The opportunity to connect with commercial partners and pilot solutions within an airline’s operational environment.

Hangar 51 aims to make an impact in areas such as:

Participants are not required to give IAG equity in advance in exchange for participation in the programme. However, IAG expects to have the option to co-invest in the next funding round.
