Funding for Artists and Cultural Organisations
Arts Council England is a public body that supports the arts across England. It distributes government and National Lottery funding, and publishes guidance for creative practitioners and arts organisations.
Arts Council England provides grants and loans for arts, museums and library projects, supporting individual artists and community and cultural organisations.
The following funds are currently open to applications:
Arts Impact Fund
The Arts Impact Fund provides loan finance to charitable art organisations that are working in a specified area of social need. Loans of between £150,000 and £600,000 are available and can be used for a wide range of purposes, including purchasing equipment, paying salaries or refurbishing a building.
V&A Purchase Grant Fund
This fund supports the purchase of a wide range of material for the permanent collections of non-nationally funded organisations in England and Wales. The purchase price of the object should be between £500 and £500,000. Grants may be made of up to 50% of the purchase price.
