Funding for Artists and Cultural Organisations
Arts Council England is a public body that supports the arts across England. It distributes government and National Lottery funding, and publishes guidance for creative practitioners and arts organisations.
Arts Council England provides grants and loans for arts, museums and library projects, supporting individual artists and community and cultural organisations.
The following funds are currently open to applications:
Arts Impact Fund
The Arts Impact Fund provides loan finance to charitable art organisations that are working in a specified area of social need. Loans of between £150,000 and £600,000 are available and can be used for a wide range of purposes, including purchasing equipment, paying salaries or refurbishing a building.
Emergency Response Funding
Arts Council England has made £160 million of emergency funding available for organisations and individuals affected by the coronavirus crisis. The funding requirements have also been changed to make it easier for those in need to access financial support.
Crowdfunding for Creative Projects
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform for new creative projects.
Business Loans from Accredo
Accredo provides business loans of between £25,000 and £1 million.
Innovate UK Funding
Innovate UK runs funding competitions to help businesses develop innovative ideas.
