The government has produced new guidance for early years providers that takes effect from 20th July. A key change is the removal of the requirement for providers to keep children in small, consistent groups or ‘bubbles’. This will have major implications for providers having to balance a desire to increase occupancy with the ultimate responsibility for keeping children safe.
