DigitalHealth.London provides specialist support to pioneer the development, commercialisation and adoption of digital technologies in the NHS to improve health outcomes.

It supports the digital health ecosystem in a number of ways:

Bridging the skills gap

DigitalHealth.London runs the Digital Pioneer Fellowship, which supports ‘change-makers’ working in NHS organisations in London to design and lead transformation projects underpinned by digital innovation.

The DigitalHealth.London Accelerator works with high-potential SMEs over a 12-month programme to speed up the adoption of innovative technology in London’s NHS. This programme is for digital health companies with a product or service that has high potential to meet the current challenges facing the NHS and social care today. Support includes bespoke advice and support, workshops and events, and building connections between innovators and NHS organisations with specific challenges.

Launchpad is for companies at an early-stage of developing a product or service and are nearing launch into the health and social care market. Participants receive a minimum of 12 hours of support over a three-month period. Support includes workshops, peer-to-peer networks, one-to-one advice and advice from DigitalHealth.London strategic partners.

Bringing communities together to create solutions

DigitalHealth.London works to build innovation bridges with other nations to support cross-border access to innovations, markets and learning.

DigitalHealth.London is a collaborative programme delivered by MedCity, UCL Partners, Imperial College Health Partners and the Health Innovation Network. It is supported by NHS England and the Mayor’s Office.
