Climate for SMEs: 4 Steps to Action

Heart of the City has created a course to help SMEs in the City of London take climate action.

What’s involved?

The bespoke course is designed to make it more achievable for City-based SMEs to take action against the climate crisis.

• Over four modules, SMEs in the City of London will learn what net zero means, why it is important to small businesses, the business case for sustainability and how to set a plan for reaching net zero.
• A guide to climate action for SMEs, including a bespoke toolkit, education events and access to experts.
• The chance to meet other SMEs on a similar journey.
• You will leave the course with a plan to achieve net zero and understand your emissions baseline.

Get involved

Through Heart of the City’s climate course, you’ll be making a commitment to:

• Measure your carbon footprint.
• Set targets to halve your green house gas emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2040.
• Disclose your progress every year.
