Tell us about your business?

Hire Frequencies have been supplying audio visual equipment and professional event production services for over a decade. We now also offer a range of virtual event and live streaming services to help bring events online. Our team of events experts have the knowledge and expertise to help navigate clients through the shift in the events industry and the wider business landscape. We have had the privilege of working with companies such as Skype, Google, Twitter, Jack Daniels and Vogue, to name but a few. We supply professional, high-quality and reliable event production and live streaming services.

How did the pandemic effect your business?

During the first lockdown we lost over 80% of our work so we shifted to producing virtual events and corporate event live streaming. We quickly learnt how to take our existing expertise and put it into practise on a range of virtual events. We had some very good success with our remote streaming jobs where customers dial into the call but because we didn’t have a studio it restricted our ability to win more work which inhibited our growth and our financial recovery. In order to boost our turnover and profitability we needed to build a streaming studio in our warehouse so we could have a professional space to run our online events and a place where clients could come to film their presentations.

What support did you receive?

The grant helped us build a small studio and gave us the boost we needed to aid our recovery by improving the range of services we could offer. Many of our clients didn’t know where to start when putting on a virtual event but we have helped make the process of putting on a virtual event easy to understand and we can now take care of every aspect with our virtual events solutions. We can also now provide webinar streaming options, and for those who want to wow their audience, our hybrid event solutions have helped many companies deliver maximum engagement, both in-person and virtually.
